Perfect treat for those times of sweet temptation.. Lot's of natural ingredients... brownies just never fail to
hit the spot...
Helpful Hints:
use dark chocolate with 70% cocoa solids, these brownies are "the rage!"

 A little canola oil to grease pan
 2 ⅛ cups Semi sweet chocolate broken into pieces
 1 cup Unsalted butter diced
 3 tbsp Fresh strong coffee
 ½ cup Xylitol a nutritious sugar-like sweetener found in health food stores
 ¼ cup Grade B maple syrup (From healthfood store)
 3 Eggs. beaten (yolks can be reduced)
 ¾ cup Unbleached all-purpose whole wheat flour
 ½ tsp Fine sea salt
 1 cup Organic raisins or half walnuts / half raisins
 1 tsp Pure vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 375F.
Lightly oil an 8 x 11-inch baking pan.
Melt chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of gently boiling water.
While coffee is hot, add sugar to it, making sure it dissolves. When cool, beat in the eggs.
Combine the remaining ingredients together in a bowl. Add melted chocolate to the egg mixture, combine
well. Fold into the dry ingredients.
Pour batter into prepared pan and bake in preheated oven for about 45 minutes, or until just firm to the touch.
Cut into squares and serve warm or room-temperature.
