 16 oz Ground Chicken
 16 oz Ground Turkey
 15.25 oz Black Beans
 14.50 oz Fire-Roasted Diced Tomatoes
 8 oz Tomato Sauce
 1 tsp Salt
 2 tbsp Dry Chopped Onion
 1 cup Water

1

Cook ground chicken and ground turkey thoroughly with one teaspoon of salt, chopped onion and the chili powder, and sit aside to marinate. (Chicken and turkey do not leave as much grease as beef & pork after cooking; however, it’s the discretion to drain off all or none of the residual oil. It’s a good idea to keep at least one tablespoon of the natural juices & fat to avoid meat from getting dry and bland. )
Combine black beans, fire-roasted diced tomatoes, tomato sauce and 1 cup of water in large sauce pot; cook for 15 minutes, stir and keep on low temperature. *this is the time to add corn, pinto beans, jalapenos and any other preferred vegetables to the dish.
Combine the cooked ground meats in the sauce pot, and stir thoroughly (at more water if needed, to avoid scorching sauce.)
Cover sauce pot and let dish to marinate at least 1 hour on low temperature to enhance flavor.
Enjoy!
